
1. Personal Data. Personal Data includes all data provided by members upon enrollment into the Program and information on member's activities within the Program, including information on reservation, booking, event and payment activities and points claim and redemption habits.
2. Processing Purposes. By enrolling under the Program, members agree to the processing of their Personal Data and hereby expressly authorize the Data Controllers to process their Personal Data, for the following purposes (“Processing Purposes”):
a) Program and membership records administration;
b) control and implementation of reservations and other orders of Members;
c) coordinating activities and special offerings with Redemption Partners;
d) guest service;
e) direct marketing, including advertising, marketing and other communication by mail, fax, telephone or email, concerning the Program, special offers and promotions from Participating Hotels or from Redemption Partners and special offers and promotions from any IHG hotel, whether specifically linked to the Program or offered to the general public.
f) transfer from one Data Controller to any other Data Controller,for any of the purposes listed in subparagraphs a) to e) above; and
g) transfer from one Data Controller to any individual or entity (“Data Processor”) for any of the purposes listed in subparagraphs a) to e) above, to process such Personal Data for, on behalf and on the instructions of the Data Controller concerned.
3. Data Controllers. By enrolling under the Program,members expressly authorize the following persons and entities (“Data Controllers”) to process their Personal Data for the Processing Purposes:
a) IHGSC, any IHG Company and any company, with which such IHG Company is affiliated, any franchisee of an IHG Company, any Participating Hotel and BusinessClub™; Member Services;
b) ICLP and any Redemption Partner; and
c) in the event any of the entities listed in subparagraphs a) and b) above undergo a company reorganization, merger or acquisition, the acquiring entity or the entity resulting from such reorganization,merger or acquisition.
4.Transfer of Personal Data. By enrolling under the Program, members expressly consent to and authorize any Data Controller to transfer their Personal Data for the Processing Purposes to another Data Controller or to a Data Processor, wherever such Data Controller or Data Processor is located in the world, including where such Data Controller or Data Processor is located in a country that is not a member of the European Union or part of the European Economic Area.
5. Right of Access to Personal Data. Members have a right of access to their Personal Data and a right to request the rectification of such Personal Data by sending a written request to:

IHGSC reserves the right to request prior proof of identification before allowing access to Personal Data or rectification of the same.
6. Protection of Personal Data. The security of the Personal Data of members is very important to IHGSC. IHGSC does not share Personal Data in ways not disclosed in this Data Protection Policy or without the informed permission of members. IHGSC values very highly the trust of the members of the Program and will work to protect the security and privacy of any Personal Data provided hereunder and will only use it as described hereunder.
